DIY Games #2… low to no cost

September 16th, 2009 · No Comments

GIANT GAME

  1. You need: construction paper, markers, one die (aka a single dice).
  2. Each person gets three or four pieces of paper.
  3. Each person comes up with something to write on their paper.  Like “go forward two spaces” or “switch places with the person that is behind you” or “go forward three, back two, forward 2″ or “touch your toes” or “skip count by 5’s to 110″ or “tell a joke”.
  4. Someone needs to make START and FINISH papers.
  5. Someone needs to lay the papers out in a line, like down a hallway or between two rooms.
  6. You are the giant game piece.  Play and have fun.

tips:

  • If you don’t have construction paper, just make an outline with colors on some of the pages to signify their color.
  • If you want to keep the game, use foamy sheets.
  • You can write on both sides of the paper, and once someone lands on it, they flip it over to the other action.
  • Someone could be the designated roller so you don’t have to toss the dice between people.
