Crayola makes sidewalk chalk, but its just too expensive.
To make your own homemade sidewalk chalk paint, you need a few basic items: cornstarch, food coloring, water, plastic cups, paintbrushes.

I don’t have an exact recipe, but fill the cup about 1/3 with cornstarch, add a few drops off food coloring and stir in cool water until its a paintlike consistency. The cornstarch to water will be about a 1:1 ratio.
It’s a fun way to make a WELCOME HOME or HAPPY BIRTHDAY message, or just for the kids to make a mess with. Rain washes it away, but if you plan to hose it off, adding a couple drops of dishsoap to the mix will make it come clean a little easier.
