I’ve been saving the lids from laundry detergent bottles since summer. I saw a giant Chinese New Year dragon made of hundreds of empty detergent bottles. I wish I could find the picture of it to post. But no way could I do THAT.
So, there has to be SOME sort of a craft to make with these.
The ones with rims have made good cups for painting with watercolors.
The boys like the random sizes for stacking and driving cars into.

It seems like the stores have a lot more clearance Halloween candy this year. And not the random bags of suckers and Halloween peeps, I’m talking about the good stuff (read: chocolate!). CVS has 75% off, Kroger in Monroe has bags of M&Ms and Snickers for $1.50 in the front of the store, WalMart has a complete aisle full of candy at half off.
Most of the individual items aren’t in Halloween specific packaging. Buying now for stockings. lunchboxes, and classrooms donations made sense to me.
