My name is Jim Dombrowski (JD), I’m the senior half of this blog and I ‘m not a musician (well, I do know three chords, but still can’t manage to make them sound like “Rock N’ Roll High School”). And I’m addicted to music.The world of music is diverse and for the most part, radio fails those who are interested in learning about new music, or educating us on it’s history. Since I spend so much of my waking life reading and listening to a wide swath of sounds, I thought I’d share some of what I’ve found. I’ll show my band if you show me yours. There’s good music out there, we just need to find it. |

Hello, I’m DJ Freese.
I am a fan of music in all its forms. I love that a song can bring me back to a place in time that I thought was gone for good. I love that shared musical tastes can bridge gaps in age, race, gender, social class, etc. I also love American Idol, so I suppose there’s no accounting for taste. I hope to introduce some of you to new music, and discuss favorite bands with others. Blogs were made for music lovers more than anyone else, so let’s take full advantage of the medium Al Gore gave us. This is is going to be great. |
