Here I am at our favorite local vet, Country Creek. I came home from my first day of school to find a manic Henry, constantly pacing and staring up at me with those bulldog eyes. Poor buddy. They think it’s his back, reinjured from a difficult nail cliping trip on Sunday. Send him good thoughts!
No Obama tickets left, I called. But if you have 1 teensy weensy extra ticket for me, email me (jessikawhiteside at gmail dot com) and I will be there within 10 minutes, almost guaranteed! Plus maybe I’ll even feature you as my “hero of the year” on Not From Around Here.

I am so excited I am giddy beyond belief. It is reported by the MEN that Barack Obama will be here, in Monroe, tomorrow!
WHY DO I NOT HAVE TICKETS?!?! Because I just found out. Still gonna try though - this would be a dream come true (and on my list of 1001 things to do in 101 days).
