Gnocci and life

GNOCCI

Another Kroger, another last box of gnocci. No more.

LIFE

…is good. We took a motorcycle safety course a few weeks ago at Schoolcraft Community College and it was fantastic; our only regret was that we hadn’t pulled our act together enough this summer to take one of the ones offered at MCCC. That and the fact that I was super excited about getting a bike and riding it on Monroe country-ish roads until I learned that not only do most accidents take place during the first 6 months someone is riding, but that the increase in accidents on country roads is astounding. Guh, that stinks.

Oh, and if you see a bulldog walking around with a Michigan shirt today, that’s my Annie sporting my lastest Target discounted find. :) Go blue!

Ah, I too have once been seduced by the seemingly simple, yet ever-so-complex potato dumplings.
I don’t know if when you look for gnocci, you’re talking about on the regular pasta shelf. You may want to consider the freezer section or the refrigerated fresh pasta section. You’re likely to find more options there and they’re generally fresher, i.e. more delicious.

Off topic, but wanted to note: You should post pictures of your little beasties when referring to them. I would love to see your winged bulldog. (That totally sounds like a euphemism, but be assured that it isn’t.)
