trick-or-treat!
We have the politest trick-or-treaters EVER. Not a one walked across the lawn to get to our door; they all took the longer way with the driveway, almost like someone TAUGHT them to do that. It was amazing. Not that we cared if they walked on our lawn, but very impressive manners.
Annie wore pink angel wings and begged for candy she can’t have greeted kids. Hubby and I sat on the front porch for a while and handed out candy with her. It was all really too cute.

Glad to hear your trick or treaters were polite. We had a couple of rude ones. Two twelve year old boys (I’m guessing). We were giving each kid three pieces of candy: a Laffy Taffy, a bubble gum pop, and a Reeses peanut butter cup. When we put the candy in their bags they said “I want two Reeses peanut butter cups.” “I’m sorry, that’s all we’re giving out,” I said. They muttered something nasty under their breathes. As they walked away I yelled, “Next year you’ll get nothing!” Okay, maybe that was a little unnecessary. But I was furious! Luckily they didn’t come back and egg our house.
