Construction and fishflies
My time in Monroe lately has been spent avoiding two things: construction, and fishflies.
To avoid the fishflies, I run directly to my car in the morning. I park my car with the door facing the house so my run is quicker. I remote unlock it before I get there (note: I wish I could remote lock/unlock the house, too, to make it even quicker). I hold my breath in case any of them fly up and touch me. Ew. And then I get in just before panic sets in. I don’t know why I hate these things so much. Don’t ask me about going to National City in the morning, the one on Dixie, because there are HUNDREDS of fishflies just waiting for me there. They know I need cash, I’m telling you.
The other thing to avoid is construction. I don’t know what’s going on with Dixie but it’s something major and it catches me every afternoon. Not to mention the fact that I am going to Detroit everyday now and have to take 275 to 94 to avoid 75’s closure. Fun times, I’m telling you.
I can’t wait until the fishfly and construction season are over!
