It seems like everyone (who doesn’t live in Monroe) has either camped at Sterling State Park or knows of it. We took our first trip a few weeks ago with the new puppy - we had no idea how big and beautiful it was! It was so nice to be near an actual beach. We’ll definitely be returning. Check it out!
Two years ago we were first introduced to the idea of living in Monroe. I remember because we were in Luna Pier DRIVING AROUND during their 4th of July events. Reading Luna Pier’s blog reminded me of that. It’s been a good two years here and though I don’t know how much longer we’ll be around, given gas prices and our commutes (Ryan drives nearly 50 miles each way now, and I drive nearly 30) but we’ll enjoy the time here that we have.
We are now a three dog family. Meet Eddie, our French bulldog puppy.
If you see us around town with Eddie, please stop and say hi! We’re trying to socialize him as much as possible so all attention is good attention.
