Da Doo Ron Ron

Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron ron
Someboy told me that her name was Jill
Da doo ron ron ron, da doo ron ron ron
… I cannot get this song out of my head!!
Shawn Cassidy’s, “Da Doo Ron Ron.”

So, then I start thinking about all my other great (uh, maybe not great), first albums. Music has always been HUGE in my life.
Cheesy 70’s teen idols, Classic Rock when it was just Rock: Queen, Eagles, Seger, AC/DC, KISS!! Then on to the 80’s: Van Halen, U2, GNR, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, so many more….
I listened to music constantly growing up.
Still do to this day.
I know soooo many lyrics.
For now though, I cannot get out:
Ya, I’ll make her mine
And when I walked her home
Da doo ron ron ron
Da doo ron ron….
Maybe I’ll get a radio station to play some Shaun Cassidy
to save me from insanity!!
What song from your first album do you remember?

just letting you know I’m deleting your blog from the reader because of the non organizational posts. It’s feedback that I’d want, and it’s nto a big deal–just that.

Soul - I do remember Rex Smith. Can’t remember his songs though.
JYankee - I still have the song in my head. I may have to breakdown and buy a record player and save myself from insanity. “… Yeah, my heart stood still. Yeah, her name was Jill ….”
Chris - Thanks for your input.

My first album was the Partridge Family. David Cassidy was sooo dreamy. Anyway, I now have the tune “I think I love you” stuck in my head. Haa haa. Thanks for letting us stroll down memory lane.
