The Miss Michigan pageant has announced Thursday pageant preliminary winners:
- Talent: Sarah Suydam, Miss Spirit of the State.
- Swimsuit: Cassandra Kramer, Miss Stateline).
Neither one is a Monroe County name.
Another round of preliminary awards will be announced Friday; the pageant finals are Saturday.
