Jon Miller might be the best baseball anouncer working these days. I love his smooth delivery, great knowledge of the game and humor. Unfortunately, ESPN teams him with the mediocre Joe Morgan.
The broadcast got better Sunday night and legendary Ernie Harwell stepped into to the booth with Miller and Morgan for a few innings. What a treat to hear old pros like Miller and Harwell work together. It was like watching the game with two old friends.
Who are your favorites in the broadcasting game or, on the other side of the coin, who ruins the enjoyment of the game for you?
I have to agree that Jon Miller does an excellent job. At times it appears that Morgan does not even want to be working with him. For me, the guy I can’t not stand in the box has to be Joe Buck. He is so annoying!

Personally, I kind of like Buck. The guy who drives me crazy is Tim McCarver. He treats fans like they are idiots and belabors the obvious.
