Summerfield has had some outstanding football teams over the years, but the current version of the Bulldogs certainly must rank up there with the best of them.
In fact, the 2009 Bulldogs and their nine (9) wins is a school record. The 1982, 1978, 1977 and 1975 teams all won eight games — all under coach LeRoy Wood — but this is the first Summerfield team to win nine in a season.
