I’d say the TCC has a pretty good shot at getting two teams into the next round of the playoffs as the two best teams in the conference — Clinton and Summerfield — are still alive in Division 6 and Division 7. Only three times in league history has at more than one league team won two playoff games in the same year:
1999: Britton-Deerfield won three games while Sand Creek won two. BD eliminated SC in the third round of the playoffs and advanced to the state semifinals.
2000: BD, Sand Creek and Whiteford each won two playoff games. BD, again, eliminated SC in the third round and went to the semifinals.
2003: Whitmore Lake and Sand Creek each won two playoff games. SC eliminated SC in the third game.
