About
The Tri-County Conference is a nine-team league in southeast Michigan, covering Monroe, Lenawee and Washtenaw Counties. Members are Britton, Clinton, Deerfield, Adrian Madison, Morenci, Sand Creek, Summerfield, Whiteford and Whitmore Lake. The league began with the 1973-74 sports season and has continued since. Britton, Deerfield, Madison, Ann Arbor St. Thomas, Summerfield and Whitmore Lake were charter members. St. Thomas (now Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard) left after three years. Whiteford and Sand Creek joined in 1975-76. Morenci joined in 1981-82. Clinton joined in 2007-08.
Doug Donnelly has maintained a league record book for more than 15 years and has twice compiled the league history into booklets that have been distributed throughout the region. An all-new update is in the works.
