Clinton clinched no worse than a share of the TCC football championship Friday with a 37-14 win at Summerfield. The Redskins led only 16-14 entering the fourth quarter, then outscored the Bulldogs 21-0 in the final stanza to put the game away.
Whiteford allowed only 88 yards of total offense in a 30-0 shutout win at Morenci. It was the third shutout of the season for Whiteford, the first time the Bobcats have done that since 1998.
Britton-Deerfield inched closer to a playoff spot with its 5th win, a 21-3 win over Sand Creek.
Whitmore Lake ended a four-game losing skid with a 28-13 win over Madison.
