Bubble.us - Brainstorm and create flow charts quick and easy. Try it for free before you register. Very cool, I’m still trying to think of what I would use it for.
Goodstorm.com - Design a t-shirt and sell it!
AmieStreet.com - Find/Buy/Sell independent music. I dig music of all kinds, so I signed up for this site. It’s a bit confusing, and I didn’t hear anything that I liked right off the bat. I do like how it all works. An artist can post their digital music up, starting for free. Based on listens or purchases, the price goes higher.. And the prices I saw were all around .05 cents per mp3 - I think the largest price I saw was like .30 cents.
I’ll spend some more time on this later to see if I can find my way around better. Great idea if it takes off.
Gubb.net - I’m a big fan of making to do lists. Gubb is awesome at it. Make your to do or grocery list, and with a click of a button text it to your phone. Or cross items off as you go. You can also share the list, and have other people add items to it.
LifeTango - have a new years resolution or a goal that your trying to commit to? Check out this website, create a new “life list” and find others with the same goals. Meet new friends and help each other stay on task.
TasteSpotting! I really dig this site. A page full of amazing food photos, with links to their recipes. Make a mean hamburger helper?! Take a picture and submit it!
Quizlet: Vocabulary learning made easy - all packaged in an easy to read, simple to use website.
From the site:
1. You enter a vocabulary list of any words or data you want. (ex. SAT words, history dates, French-Spanish translations, etc.)
2. Quizlet gives you a specialized learning mode, flashcards, randomly-generated tests, and collaboration tools for classmates to help you study those words.
3. You ace your test.
- I’d like to also note that this was all created by a 15 year old. Brilliant!
Profane Game: Having a bad day? Take your aggressions out with this game. Type as many profane words as you can in 1 minute and see how you score.
