AudioRaider: These sites seem to be popping up all over the place since Singingfish was taken down. What this does is search for files around the internet that people may have uploaded to their webspace. To download them, I suppose, wouldn’t comply with the laws of the recording industry, but to listen to, I don’t think they’ve outlawed that yet! I was really surprised by the search results – complete albums came up for me!

Monroe Evening News – online newspaper edition!!
Monday, October 8th, 2007We’ve been working on this for quite a while. I’m extremly pleased with the outcome, and that we’ve finally launched it. Take a look – it’s free for the month of October, and will be complimentary to current (paper) newspaper subscribers. If you’re not a subscriber, you can subscribe to the online edition only for a small fee, or purchase a single copy of the newspaper for regular newsstand prices. But check it out, I think you’ll find it very cool!!

Sphere: Related ContentiTunes playlists online – listen for free!
Friday, October 5th, 2007Nutsie is a community type website where you can upload your iTunes playlist and share it with the community.
I’ve registered and am trying this out. It works well. It would be cool if the genres of music were grouped together to make it easier to find playlists, but what the heck – free streaming music rules. Gotta keep playing with this, I’m sure I’ll find more features.

Buy my broken ipod
Monday, October 1st, 2007I unfortunately am going to have to use this service. I bought an iPod a little over a year ago. Now, it has an error, that I believe means that the hard drive is busted. The good thing about this is, that it looks like my broken iPod is worth $75.00 !! This beats the $0 I figured I had laying there. woohoo! Before I send it in, I’m going to research the cost of a new hard drive, this might be cheaper than just buying a new one.

Remeber cassette tapes?
Friday, September 21st, 2007I actually still use them pretty regularly. Both of my vehicles have tape decks and my 1 yr old iPod decided not to work anymore. Anyhow, check out tapedeck.org, it really brings back memories of making “mix-tapes” and recording songs from the radio.
