Control a kid remote control
Monday, July 16th, 2007Control a kid remote: Now, I don’t have kids – but I’m going to buy one of these incase I ever do, or for just babysitting. Wow, I never thought parenting would get this easy!!
Additional Information: Parents, do you ever find it difficult to cope with your little tear-aways running riot around your feet. Do you wish you could assert more control over them without the need to raise your voice or belt. Now there is another method you might just like.
The Control-a-Kid remote has all the functions you will need to help keep those little monsters under control. Functions like stop sulking or tantrums, eat greens to do homework and more. What is even better is that this remote does not use batteries, but is powered by positive thinking. This way you wont lose control until they fly the nest, Nice!”

This thing is pretty amazing, it has a built in camera so it can see where it’s going, it is sensitive to touch and will be selling for a measly $300! Just, whatever you do, don’t get him wet!

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007Track your workouts
Friday, April 6th, 2007Last year, I decided to do something crazy. To keep up with a steady running plan I had been following, I decided to take it one step further, and train for the Detroit Free Press Marathon. If any of you have ever done a marathon, you know, it’s not just waiting for the big day to arrive, and attempting to run 26.2 miles. It’s the training that is the biggest task.
Being the tech-geek that I am, I decided to first, purchase a Garmin Forerunner 201. This is a GPS watch, that tracks my mileage, pace, time and speed all through a satellites.
I also, found a website thanks to one of my favorite podcasts, Phedippidations, called BuckeyeOutdoors.com. With BuckeyOutdoors, you can track your daily workouts, diet, etc. You can check out other profiles (mine), and pick up ideas from others. Visit the forums to discuss running, load a running plan or even post your daily workout on your blog.
For me, this was the easiest online tracking tool I’ve found, and believe me, I’ve tested out a bunch of them. It seemed to be a great motivational tool too, to be able to track my progress. So, sign up for the site, strap on those old running shoes and burn off all of those extra helpings of turkey and egg-nog you couldn’t resist this winter.
