Thank you so much for commenting. 

I tend to agree with you; however, if memory serves me correctly in 8th grade they teach American History. I suppose the election &#039;vote&#039; is used in conjunction with lesson plans revolving around some facet of American History. 

In agreement with you is my belief that we ought to be teaching the civic importance of our vote at all ages.</description>

		<description>I only have one thing to say about that mock election that Mrs Zaums took the students to.... she should have done a mock election with all of the students in the school so they all could see what it like to vote.
  I say this because my son came home and said that they did not get to vote or anything.</description>
