All my life I said my last dinner would be a burger and fries. It was always a treat for me to eat, not an everyday thing. I haven’t had one since that movie. The conversation where Greg Kinear and Bruce Willis are talking about the percentage of poop in the burger was bad enough, but the scene with the steer and the gutts down the chute, the treatment of worker/animals…Well, we’ve eaten naturally farm raised or free range chicken and turkey for two years–no little pigs, not steak/burger. We’re pretty much on our own to find out what’s being served up and how, and where it came from.

just watched Fast Food Nation, it’s impactful to say the least… earlier today i passed up a sausage mcmuffin because of it. Evidently it is worth passing up fast food for more than health reasons.
