like the troops not coming home after ried and polosi said they would if thehy we elected majority, nothing will ever chance oil being the engine that drives capitolism....when this has changed over the four - eight years Obama serves, will you refer to his administation as the oil administration? i'll be watching,

i'm with boone pickens, drill, drill, drill and do everything else too...

need your help with one question. why don't librals like nuclear energy? it's the cleanest of them all....and on day one gets rid of all coal...why won't they allow this as a solution? i'd think they'd do anything to get rid of coal and the pollution. i've never been given an aswer to this.

Thanks for commenting. With less marine life the sonar detection for other foreign obstacles would be better. So Japan would want to surround themselves with the critters since the critters would deflect anything else from being detected. But I wouldn't rule out anything from this administration. They've slaughtered wolves, horses, and buffalo this past year to clear the way for what looks like development in our national forests, and a massive lumbering effort. Everything anti-environmental.

But most of the whaling is around Antarctica, where there are no people. The animal rights groups state that the Japanese are just carrying on with tradition under the guise of research. Why anyone needs to kill 100's of whales for research is beyond me. You would think one or two would be enough since they are mammoth. The dolphin kill is just plain cruel, and the same thing. A little corner of old school Japanese just keeping up tradition. It's just another form of hunting, which seems to be growing instead of the world being kinder toward threatened animals. Sad to see, and worth fighting for.

You're right to be suspicious. I think all types of hidden agendas will be revealed in the near future. I'm waiting to hear, "It's a whole lot worse then we thought..." It's time for the old Bette Davis saying: "Buckle your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy ride."

I'm just curious that sinc the United States military uses the sonar for military purposes, that maybe that's one of the huge reasons the dolphins and whales are being slaughtered? Maybe the less there are, the less sonar detection? hmmmm gots me more than curious on that one. Hidden agenda, maybe?

I gave a perfectly good response. Take the time to read it.

There is no debate. Facts are facts and the Bush administration was caught red handed altering reports of global warming. The worse deception perpetrated on the American people was causing doubts about global warming and replacing science with absolutely nothing. And people like you choose to believe in the nothing, and contribute nothing but unsubstantiated doubt. What are you so afraid of. A vehicle that looks the same, rides the same, is the same but runs on something other than gas, or heat and A/C for your home that doesn't cost an arm and a leg because it comes from a natural source, or thousands of jobs in a whole new sector of industry, or the chance to become part of the change that should have come long ago since we're in the 21st century now? None of the things I've listed should be alarming to anyone, that is of course if they don't work for the oil industry in some capacity.

You haven't noticed the push to get a filibuster proof Senate? There were 77 filibusters last year alone out of the Republican Party setting a new record. Look at some of the bills. What start out as decent bills, get all types of attachments that render them not worth a vote. Just like the latest plea to help the auto industry garnered a reply with strings attached for a free trade agreement with Columbia.

Obama is new school where people work in teams. Go to college now, and more than likely you would find yourself working on teams in many classes. He knows how to put together expert teams and delegate.

Anyway, I'm talking about peace with the environment. Environmental factors are wreaking havoc around the world, displacing people, increasing world famine, and causing suffering in general to humans, animals, and marinelife. I know things will change in this sector with the oil administration gone.

"Some things to be looking for right off the bat:

Declaring carbon dioxide emissions endanger human welfare"

A presidential declaration doesn't make it any more so than if the eco-nazis said it. It's pure bunk promulgated to control the remnant of the 1st World we have left in this country.

you'll get no response....this is the biggest joke of all time. al gore is so unwise it isn't funny, and he almost became president.....wow. there is no sustainable facts behind this shell game. just once i'd like to see gore debate his position with ANYONE!!!!!! he simply won't, in fact i dont think anyone on that side will. it would end the debate in 30 minuites!!!! really, no one would believe in global warming two minuites into the debate....i'd love to see it but it will never happen. if the alarmists were sure in their "science" they would have had called for debates on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, etc, etc, etc, it won't happen!!!! they know there is no science and their claims are 100 percent unsupportable...
